ROOF INSTALLATION
New Construction Roof Installation
A new build deserves a roof installed right the first time. Real Home Solutions LLC installs roofs on new construction homes and additions across Nampa, the Treasure Valley, and eastern Oregon, coordinated with your build schedule.
We are a Caldwell-based, licensed Idaho contractor, and the same crew does the work start to finish with no subcontractors. That keeps quality consistent and communication simple on an active job site.
What we install
We install complete roofing systems on new structures, from the underlayment up. Every layer matters for a roof that performs for decades.
- Underlayment and ice and water protection where needed
- Flashing around penetrations, valleys, and walls
- Ventilation to protect the deck and attic
- Asphalt shingle roofing installed to spec
- Drip edge and finishing details
Built for the schedule
New construction runs on timelines and trade handoffs. We coordinate our start so the roof is on when it needs to be, keeping the interior trades on track.
Working with builders and owners
Whether you are a homeowner building a custom home or managing an addition, we install to the plans and to code. Atlas Platinum Select contractor. Up to 50 years non-prorated coverage and 10 years workmanship. Manufacturer/material coverage is separate from workmanship coverage. These are applicable roofing coverage options, not a warranty on every roof or on siding and other exterior work. Ask which options apply to your roof in your written estimate.
- Do you work on new construction as well as existing homes?
- Yes. We install roofs on new construction homes and additions, not just replacements on existing houses. We coordinate our timing with the rest of the build so the roof goes on at the right stage.
- When during construction does the roof go on?
- The roof is installed once the framing and the roof deck are complete and inspected. Getting it on promptly protects the interior from weather so drywall and finish trades can proceed. We plan our start around that milestone.
- Can you install to my architect's specifications?
- Yes. We install to the plans and material specifications provided, and to local code. If the spec calls for a particular product or detail, note it and we will build the estimate to match.
- Why does ventilation matter on a new roof?
- Proper attic ventilation lets heat and moisture escape, which protects the deck, the shingles, and the insulation over time. A roof installed without adequate ventilation can age early and trap moisture. We build the ventilation in as part of the system.
- Do you handle the permit on new construction?
- Roofing on new construction is usually covered under the building permit for the project. We coordinate with the general contractor or owner so the roofing work fits the permitted plan. We will confirm the process for your specific job.
- What roofing materials do you install on new homes?
- We most commonly install asphalt shingle systems, which balance cost and durability for Idaho homes. We can discuss options that fit the design and budget. The written estimate lists the exact products.
- Do you use subcontractors on new builds?
- No. The same crew installs the roof from start to finish. On an active job site that means one point of contact and consistent quality.
- How long does a new construction roof take to install?
- Timing depends on the size and complexity of the roof and on the weather. Many single family roofs install in a few days once we start. We give you a schedule window in the estimate.
- How much does new construction roofing cost?
- Cost depends on the roof size, pitch, complexity, and the materials specified. Because every plan differs, we price each project individually. Call for a free written estimate on your build.
- Are you licensed and insured for new construction?
- Yes. We are a licensed Idaho contractor, license #3171499, and we carry insurance. The owner, Mark Cummings, is background checked.
