When to repair siding

How we handle repairs
We remove the damaged material, check the wall behind it, and replace the siding with a match where possible. If the barrier or sheathing is damaged, we fix that first so the problem does not come back.

- Often yes, if the profile and color are still made. Discontinued styles and years of sun fading can make an exact match hard. We tell you honestly whether a clean blend is realistic before we start.
- How fast should I fix damaged siding?
- Sooner is better. Even small cracks or gaps let water into the wall, and water damage grows and gets costly. A quick repair usually prevents a much bigger job later. Call us as soon as you notice a problem.
- How do I know if the damage is worse than it looks?
- Water stains, soft spots, and warping around the damage are warning signs of hidden trouble. We remove the damaged siding and check the sheathing and barrier before we close it up. We report what we find before repairing.
- Is siding repair covered by insurance?
- Storm damage may be covered depending on your policy. We can document the damage with photos to support a claim. We are not the insurer, so coverage decisions are between you and your company, but we help with the evidence.
- Should I repair or replace my siding?
- Isolated damage is usually a repair. Widespread cracking, warping, or moisture across the wall often points to replacement. We inspect the full exterior and give you an honest recommendation, not a push toward the bigger job.

- Yes. If the weather barrier or sheathing is wet or rotted, we repair that before reinstalling siding. Covering damage without fixing it just hides the problem. We make sure the wall is sound.
